Typical uses include isolated control inputs and feedback connections between separate electrical domains. Board integration uses the surface-mount SOP-4_L4.4-W2.6-P1.27-LS7.0-BL footprint, supplied with four pads and a matching four-pin schematic symbol. Both are available as free KiCad downloads, along with a 3D model for checking the package's position in an assembly view. The library assets originated in a real ProtoFlow import and were converted and checked in the editor. This optocoupler can be opened directly in ProtoFlow for schematic and layout work.
