For portable equipment that must operate while its battery charges, TI's BQ24075TRGTR combines a single-cell lithium-ion charger with power-path management. This arrangement supports circuits with both an external power input and a rechargeable battery. The surface-mount VQFN package includes an exposed pad, reflected in the supplied symbol's 17 pins and the footprint's 17 pads.
