Protection at an exposed circuit connection is the role of the Leiditech DF2B6.8M1ACT. This protection diode is used to help divert transient events away from sensitive electronics, including at connections that may encounter electrostatic discharge. Its two-terminal DFN surface-mount format keeps the protection component compact on the PCB. For schematic capture and layout, the free download supplies a two-pin symbol and the DFN-2L_L1.0-W0.6-P0.65 footprint with two pads; a 3D model is included as well.
