PCF8574T
by HGSEMI(华冠)HGSEMI's PCF8574T adds general-purpose I/O through an I2C connection, making it useful when switches, indicators or other simple digital signals would otherwise consume controller pins. The PCF8574 family uses quasi-bidirectional I/O, a detail to consider when planning the surrounding circuitry. Here the device is represented by a 16-pin symbol and the SOP-16_L10.3-W7.5-P1.27-LS10.4-BL surface-mount footprint with 16 pads. Both are available as free KiCad downloads together with a 3D model.
