For indoor air-quality measurement, Sensirion's SCD41-D-R2 provides CO2 sensing based on the SCD4x family's photoacoustic approach. It is a surface-mount sensor intended for integration into monitoring hardware, where sensor placement is part of the overall board design. Included in the free KiCad download are a 21-pin symbol, a 3D model and the LGA-20_L10.1-W10.1-P1.25-TL footprint with 21 pads. Although the footprint name carries an LGA-20 designation, this imported library contains the stated 21 pins and pads. In real designs, 2 ProtoFlow engineers have used this conversion. Open the sensor directly in ProtoFlow to work with the supplied library.
