A removable connection using a two-row, four-position mating header is the natural use for ZHOURI's 2.54-2*4 female connector. The vertical through-hole format is represented by HDR-TH_8P-P2.54-V-F-R2-C4-S2.54, which identifies both 2.54 mm contact pitch and row spacing. Eight schematic pins and eight PCB pads are supplied in the free KiCad files, together with a 3D model. Check pin-one orientation against the mating board or cable before routing the connection. This particular conversion has seen use in real designs by 1 ProtoFlow engineer. For further inspection or placement, open the connector directly in ProtoFlow.
