SIMCom’s SIM7080G is a surface-mount cellular IoT module intended for connected devices using low-power wide-area mobile networks. It consolidates the radio subsystem into a board-level module, allowing a host design to connect power, control, communication, antenna, and supporting signals through its LCC interface. The KiCad files include a detailed 77-pin symbol and the 77-pad LCC-SMD_SIM7080G footprint. A fitted 3D model makes it easier to inspect module orientation, occupied board area, and surrounding mechanical clearance before fabrication. This conversion has served 2 ProtoFlow engineers in real designs, so the imported mapping has undergone practical use. The SIM7080G library part can be opened directly in ProtoFlow for integration.
