Switch3x4x2 is a surface-mount tactile switch intended as a compact manual input on a PCB. The supplied record has two schematic pins and two footprint pads, so the electrical representation stays simple when adding a pushbutton input to a design. Its free KiCad files contain the symbol, the SW-SMD_L4.0-W2.9-LS5.0 footprint, and a 3D model. The footprint name carries the switch body's layout identifiers for comparing it with the available board space. This conversion has been used by 2 ProtoFlow engineers in real designs.
