The 382FUSE entry represents an xcfuse through-hole fuse for circuit overcurrent protection. Its two-terminal arrangement supports placement in series with the circuit being protected; the required fuse rating must be selected for the application. For PCB integration, the downloadable library contains a 2-pin schematic symbol and the FUSE-TH_BD8.5-P5.08-D0.9 footprint with 2 pads. An included 3D model supports assembly visualization alongside nearby components. This conversion has seen use in real designs by 1 ProtoFlow engineer.
