Driving a MOSFET gate places different demands on a circuit than driving a logic input. Microchip's TC4427AEOA713 provides non-inverting gate drive between control logic and power-switching MOSFETs, with applications in switching supplies and motor-control circuits. The SOIC-8 surface-mount package keeps the driver close to the switching stage.
