A detachable cable connection is the main role of the JST SM02B-GHS-TB, a surface-mount header from the GH wire-to-board connector family. It is useful for linking a PCB to wiring that needs to disconnect during assembly or service. Select the mating connector for the GH interface and allow room for cable access in the mechanical layout. The free KiCad assets comprise a four-pin symbol, the four-pad CONN-SMD_SM02B-GHS-TB-LF-SN footprint and a 3D model for assembly review.
