Programmable logic lets the XC7S15-1FTGB196C implement custom digital interfaces, control paths, and parallel processing functions. This AMD/Xilinx Spartan-7 FPGA is supplied in a surface-mount ball-grid-array package, so its library representation matters for both signal assignment and board layout.
