It is a half-duplex transceiver, making it useful for shared communication links in control equipment and other wired systems. Driver and receiver enable control lets the circuit manage when it transmits or listens. The KiCad package includes an eight-pin symbol, the eight-pad SOIC-8_L4.9-W3.9-P1.27-LS6.0-BL footprint, and a 3D model of the surface-mount package. Conversion verification was performed in the editor using a real ProtoFlow import as the source. The symbol, footprint, and model can be opened together directly in ProtoFlow.
