The LITEON LTV-817S-TA1 is an optocoupler for transferring a signal across an electrically isolated boundary. Its input LED and output phototransistor let a control circuit communicate without a direct conductive signal path. This surface-mount version uses four connections. The downloadable KiCad files include a four-pin symbol, the four-pad OPTO-SMD-4_L4.6-W6.5-P2.54-LS10.3-BL footprint, and a 3D model for checking board placement.
