The TI LM35DZ senses temperature and presents an analog output for measurement circuits. Its through-hole TO-92-3 package calls for a different board treatment from an SMD sensor: the supplied TO-92-3_L4.9-W3.7-P1.27-L footprint has three pads for the three symbol pins. The free KiCad download also contains a 3D model, allowing the package to be inspected in the board view. This conversion has been used by 1 ProtoFlow engineer in real designs. When wiring the sensor, verify the pin mapping against the circuit and the physical orientation on the board. Open the part directly in ProtoFlow if you want to place it there.
