HYCON’s HY2120CB is a battery-protection IC used in rechargeable-cell protection circuits to supervise unsafe charge and discharge conditions. The six-pin SMD package supports compact protection boards and space-constrained power designs. Its downloadable KiCad data consists of a 6-pin schematic symbol, the SOT-23-6_L2.9-W1.6-P0.95-LS2.8-BR footprint with six pads, and an included 3D model for assembly visualization. Two ProtoFlow engineers have used this conversion in real designs, so the imported symbol and land pattern have been exercised beyond the initial editor check.
