Use the MT3608L where a board requires a compact step-up power-conversion stage. This boost-converter IC from Xi’an Aerosemi is supplied in a six-lead SOT-23 package, making it suitable for small power sections paired with the necessary external components. The KiCad download provides a six-pin schematic symbol and the SOT-23-6_L2.9-W1.6-P0.95-LS2.8-BL_3 footprint, which contains six pads. An aligned 3D model is also included for visual and mechanical review. The conversion has been exercised by 2 ProtoFlow engineers in real designs, verifying its usability in actual projects.
