For retaining configuration, calibration, or other data without power, the Microchip 24LC256T-I/SN is a serial EEPROM in an eight-lead surface-mount package. The device belongs to the familiar 24LC memory family and is commonly connected to a controller as external nonvolatile storage. This KiCad package provides an 8-pin symbol together with the 8-pad SOIC-8_L4.9-W3.9-P1.27-LS6.0-BL footprint.
