For wireless sensor nodes and telemetry links, SEMTECH's SX1262IMLTRT supplies the radio transceiver function with LoRa support. This surface-mount IC uses a QFN-24 package with an exposed pad, making the package's center connection relevant to PCB layout. Its free KiCad files include a 25-pin symbol, the 25-pad QFN-24_L4.0-W4.0-P0.50-BL-EP2.6 footprint, and a 3D model for inspecting placement in the board assembly. Real-design use of the conversion includes 2 ProtoFlow engineers. The complete part can also be opened directly in ProtoFlow for schematic capture and layout.
