Worldsemi’s WS2811 is an LED driver and control IC commonly used to build serially addressable RGB lighting and cascaded pixel assemblies. It separates the LED-driving function from the light-emitting package, which is useful when arranging external LEDs in strips, signs, or decorative fixtures. The supplied KiCad library entry has an 8-pin schematic symbol, the SOP-8_L4.9-W3.9-P1.27-LS6.0-BL footprint with 8 pads, and a 3D model representing the surface-mount package.
