Who can claim
Anyone taking part in ReverieHacks Embedded Systems Hackathon. Any valid email works — a university or .edu address is not required. One claim per person; use the address you will sign into ProtoFlow with.
Both servers, or no credits
You must be in the ProtoFlow Discord and the ReverieHacks Discord. We check membership against both before granting. Leaving either server before the event ends forfeits unspent credits.
When they land
Credits are added to your ProtoFlow account within 24 hours of both joins being confirmed. If you have not made an account yet, sign up with the same email and they will be waiting.
What they are good for
Any AI feature in ProtoFlow: circuit generation, datasheet-to-part, the copilot, layout automation. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are not refundable.
One person, one claim
Alt emails, disposable-domain addresses, and duplicate accounts get every associated claim voided. We would rather spend the budget on people actually building something.
Your project stays yours
Sponsoring the event buys us nothing. We claim no ownership, no license, and no rights over anything you design during the hackathon.
Do I need to pay anything to use ProtoFlow at the hackathon?
No. The ProtoFlow editor is free to download and use on macOS, Windows, and Linux, and this sponsorship covers 500 AI credits on top of that. No card is required at any point.
Do I need a university or .edu email address?
No. Any valid email address works, including Gmail, Outlook, and other personal or work addresses. Use the same email for your ProtoFlow account so the credits reach the right account.
How long do the 500 credits take to arrive?
Within 24 hours of us confirming you are in both Discord servers. Enter the same email you use for your ProtoFlow account so they land in the right place — if you have not created an account yet, sign up with that email and the credits will already be there.
What can I spend the credits on?
Every AI feature in the app: generating a schematic from a plain-English prompt, turning a datasheet PDF into a linked symbol and footprint, asking the copilot about your specific board, and the automated placement, routing cleanup, and design-review passes.
Do I have to use ProtoFlow to enter the hackathon?
No. ProtoFlow is a sponsor, not a requirement. The credits are a free resource if you want them, and the official entry rules are set by the ReverieHacks organizers.
Can I keep working on my project after the event?
Yes. Your projects, your credits, and your account are all yours after the hackathon ends. You can also export everything to KiCad at any time, so nothing you build is trapped in our file format.
What if I already have a ProtoFlow account?
Use that account email when you claim. The 500 credits are added to your existing balance rather than replacing it.
